Going to college is such an incredible experience and it makes a tremendous impact on a student’s journey to becoming an adult.

 

Now more than ever it is crucial we all step forward and support opportunities to make a difference for students who accept the challenge of earning a college degree. It is the goal of the Reading Branch NAACP to find students in Reading and Berks county and to help them on their road to receiving a quality education.

 

The 31st Annual Reading Branch NAACP Freedom Fund Gala will take place on Saturday, October 20th at the Inn at Reading, 1040 N. Park Road, Wyomissing, PA 10601. Doors open at 5pm, program starts at 6pm. Tickets are $60 in advance and $65 at the door. Last year, through your generous support, we raised more than $15,000 in scholarship funds.
